Job summary

RED Digital Cinema in California seeks a Manager, Global Trade & Logistics to lead import/export compliance and international logistics for a global manufacturing environment. You will supervise a small team and partner with Finance, Sales, Legal, Product, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to move components, demo equipment, and products across borders efficiently and compliantly.

You should bring 5–8 years of experience in global trade, strong knowledge of EAR/ITAR, HTS/ECCN

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related field is required or preferred.
• 5-8 years of progressive experience in global trade, import/export compliance, or international logistics.
• Experience in manufacturing, electronics, or technology sectors is preferred.
• Knowledge of U.S. EAR, ITAR, HTS, ECCN, USML, and country-of-origin procedures.
• Exposure to ITAR is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience working with brokers, forwarders, and logistics providers.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities with ERP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team responsible for import/export activities and trade compliance policies.
• Oversee U.S. import/export requirements, EAR, ITAR, USML, and sanctions compliance.
• Maintain HTS, ECCN, country-of-origin determinations, and valuation records.
• Coordinate export licenses and data controls with external specialists.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate business impact.
• Manage brokers, carriers, and international logistics providers.
• Drive cost-improvement projects related to transportation and landed costs.
• Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Legal on trade classifications.
• Establish and monitor trade and logistics KPIs.
