Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Legal Counsel-International based in Seattle, WA. You will provide legal review on proposals, procurement, and contracting strategies for international government and commercial deals, including cross-border software, hardware, data rights, and negotiate terms end-to-end.

You will work with the Global Defense team, ITAR/DFARS compliance, and collaborate with International Trade Compliance, Business Development, and Program teams to

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work on international commercial contracting and/or international government/defense contracts
• Experience structuring cross-border commercial agreements — including governing law, dispute resolution/arbitration, payment security, and Incoterms
• Judgment and initiative to own multiple projects end-to-end in defense/start-up contracting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• CA bar eligibility or in-house eligibility; US citizenship and security clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead international contract reviews, redlines, and negotiations end-to-end.
• Support BD, Proposals, and Engineering to capture new deals.
• Manage relationships with foreign government procurement offices.
• Provide day-to-day guidance on proposals, procurement, and compliance.
• Navigate ITAR, EAR, and sanctions in international work.
• Collaborate with IP, litigation, and compliance teams on international matters.
