Job summary

Anduril is seeking a Legal Counsel-International based in Costa Mesa, CA, to support international government and commercial businesses. You will handle international contracting, cross-border software, hardware, data rights, and services agreements, and manage T&Cs negotiations end-to-end.

The role collaborates with Global Defense, ITAR/EAR compliance, and International Trade Compliance teams, traveling roughly monthly to APAC and Americas, and negotiating with foreign governments and allies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work on international commercial contracting and/or international government/defense contracts, defense trade, or U.S. government contracts matters.
• Demonstrated ability to structure and negotiate cross-border commercial agreements, familiarity with DCS and FMS structures.
• Strong judgment and initiative to manage multiple projects end-to-end with risk considerations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Licensed to practice law in CA or eligible to register as in-house counsel under CA rules.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of Anduril's Legal Team.
• Drive international contracts and grow existing ones, negotiating master agreements, PO T&Cs, license, hardware and services agreements.
• Manage relationships with foreign government ministries of defense and allied procurement offices.
• Provide legal counsel across the acquisitions lifecycle, monitor large contracts, and lead negotiations.
• Collaborate with ITAR/EAR compliance and International Trade Compliance teams on deal structures.
• Develop contracting approaches for delivering technology to foreign government customers in APAC and the Americas.
