Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Legal Counsel‑International in Costa Mesa, CA to support international government and commercial contracts. You will review proposals, negotiate cross-border licenses and services, and ensure compliance with ITAR, EAR, and sanctions.

You’ll work with Global Defense and ITAR teams to align deal structures while traveling internationally as needed. The role emphasizes ownership, proactive risk management, and collaboration across a fast-growing defense tech company

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work on international government contracts, defense trade, or U.S. government contracts matters.
• Understanding of international defense contracting, particularly FMS and DCS, or hybrid structure contract vehicles.
• Ability to own multiple projects end-to-end and guide lifecycle of deals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Licensed to practice law in CA.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal review and guidance on proposals, procurement, contracting strategies, and day-to-day program execution for the applicable Anduril Division.
• Advise on ITAR, EAR, export licensing strategy, and cross-border compliance.
• Negotiate licenses, hardware, and services agreements, offset arrangements, and IP matters.
• Collaborate with International Trade Compliance, Business Development, and Program teams.
• Travel up to about 1 week per month, including international travel.
