Job summary

Anduril Industries, based in Seattle, seeks a Legal Counsel-International to guide international government and commercial contracts. You will own cross-border terms, negotiate licenses, licenses, and services agreements, while coordinating with global defense teams to navigate ITAR/DFARS requirements.

The role emphasizes strategic deal-making, risk assessment, and collaboration across business development, program teams, and external partners.

Qualifications

3+ years of international commercial contracting and/or government/defense contracts experience.
Ability to structure and negotiate cross-border agreements including governing law, dispute resolution, payment security, and Incoterms.
Licensed to practice law in CA or eligible to register as in-house counsel.
Location: Seattle office; in-office role.

Responsibilities

Lead review, redlining, and negotiation of international terms and conditions for contracts.
Support Business Development, Proposal, and Engineering teams to capture new international deals.
Build and maintain relationships with foreign government ministries of defense and allied procurement offices.
Oversee acquisitions lifecycle, ensure compliance with laws and policies, and manage major negotiations.
Collaborate with ITAR, EAR, and sanctions teams and advise on data rights and IP matters.
Travel about 1 week per month, including international travel.
