Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Senior Principal Architect for EDT Data Architecture Strategy & Standards to own the enterprise data and analytics architecture across Azure and Databricks Lakehouse. You will partner with engineering, business leaders, Microsoft, and Databricks to define target state and validate standards through hands-on implementations.

You will lead architecture governance, establish lifecycle standards, and influence roadmaps while mentoring teams and evaluating vendor direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10+ years in data engineering, architecture, analytics at global scale.
• Hands-on delivery with Azure and Databricks Lakehouse.
• Experience architecting enterprise data platforms and pipelines.
• Proficient with Azure Data Lake, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Power BI.
• Experience defining standards and governance for enterprise data.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise data architecture strategy and standards.
• Define multi-year Azure Databricks lakehouse roadmap across components.
• Publish reusable blueprints for design patterns and security.
• Co-chair architecture review board and manage design gates.
• Lead critical technical decisions and guidance with engineers.
