Job summary

Wesco seeks a Manager - Sales to drive services demand and growth within the high-density data center space, partnering with sales teams and customers from pre-award development through post-award delivery.

You'll bring strong IT/sales experience and technical knowledge of data center solutions, including power and cooling, liquid cooling, AI infrastructure, rack integration, cabling, space planning, and supply chain logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• Prior professional sales experience in the data center industry (3+ years).
• Knowledge of data center industry and current/emerging technologies.
• Experience managing a sales team or sales programs (1+ year).
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in customer needs assessment and delivering quality services.
• Excellent time management and computer skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Experience forecasting and developing sales quotas.

Responsibilities

• Position Wesco's design/engineering capabilities for power/cooling solutions (including liquid cooling), AI infrastructure, rack integration, LV cabling design, space planning, and logistics.
• Develop and administer sales plans to ensure customer satisfaction and quota attainment.
• Partner with Marketing to develop and implement sales marketing programs.
• Forecast and set annual sales objectives by territory.
• Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new lines and customers.
• Maintain sales volume, product mix and pricing in line with market conditions.
• Coordinate order service by directing account reps on quotations, proposals and order management.
• Establish and adjust billing margins by monitoring costs and competition.
• Manage sales staff by recruiting, orienting and training employees.
• Coach staff and monitor performance; develop relationships with top customers.
• Maintain professional knowledge through workshops and industry publications.
