Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Manager - Sales to drive services demand and growth in the high-density data center space. You will partner with sales teams and customers from pre-award development through post-award delivery and bring IT/sales experience across power/cooling, liquid cooling, AI infrastructure, and rack integration.

You will develop sales plans, forecast quotas, and align cross-functional teams to deliver results while maintaining strong relationships with top customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Sales, Business Admin, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional sales experience in the data center industry.
• Knowledge of data center industry and current technologies.
• Experience managing a sales team or sales programs for 1+ year.
• Strong planning, resource allocation, and coordination skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service principles knowledge and ability to assess customer needs.
• Excellent time management and computer skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Position Wesco's design/engineering capabilities for power/cooling solutions and AI infra.
• Develop and administer sales plans to meet quotas and build reference accounts.
• Partner with Marketing to implement sales programs and initiatives.
• Forecast sales and gross profit; develop objectives and quotas.
• Coordinate quotations, proposals, and project order management.
• Establish and adjust billing margins by monitoring costs and market conditions.
• Manage sales staff through recruitment, training, and performance coaching.
• Develop and maintain relationships with top customers.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and participate in professional societies.
• Communicate detailed forecasts to senior managers and collaborate with support teams.
