Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Senior Vice President of Global Data Center Operations to lead the health, performance, and continuous operation of our mission-critical facilities worldwide. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of data center environments, partnering with IT Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial teams to meet uptime, safety, and sustainability goals.

The role requires deep MEP expertise, strategic leadership, and the ability to manage a globally distributed team while driving

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in data center facility operations or physical plant management.
• Minimum 5 years in an executive or senior leadership role overseeing global data center operations.
• Deep technical understanding of critical MEP infrastructure (UPS, HVAC, chillers, gensets, fire suppression, high-density cooling).
• Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and manage large OpEx/CapEx budgets.
• Strong executive presence with ability to influence C-suite and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Direct 24/7/365 global data center operations and ensure uptime of power, cooling, and critical systems.
• Set and govern SOPs, MOPs, EOPs; drive RCA and preventative actions for incidents.
• Oversee capacity planning for space, power, and cooling across a global portfolio.
• Lead sustainability initiatives to improve PUE and WUE and drive environmental responsibility.
• Build and mentor a high-performing global facilities team and ensure safety/compliance.
• Collaborate with IT, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial teams for deployment readiness.
