Job summary

5C Data Centers seeks a senior leader to own performance, reliability, and readiness of US hyperscale data center operations. You will guide site operations, critical facilities, safety, and incident management, collaborating with Construction, Engineering, Quality, and Cloud Ops to move new facilities into production.

Reporting to the Senior VP of Operations, you will drive governance, workforce planning, and capacity expansion across multiple sites with a focus on reliability and safety in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Operations, or related field.
• 12+ years in data center operations with 7+ years in senior leadership.
• Experience operating hyperscale, colocation, cloud, HPC, or AI/GPU data centers.
• Leadership across multiple data centers and new site openings.
• Willingness to travel 20–40%.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for operations across all US data center sites.
• Establish a consistent operating model across sites while accounting for site-specific needs.
• Ensure 24x7 coverage and escalation capability for risks.
• Own operational readiness for new data centers and capacity expansions.
• Lead HSE, vendor management, budgeting, and continuous improvement.
