Qualifications

• 4+ years IT experience or a degree in CS/engineering/mathematics or equivalent
• 2+ years of people management experience
• 2+ years of operations and on-call support for data center facilities or production environments

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators
• Manage the performance of a diverse team of data center operation professionals across locations
• Develop career paths for employees and update internal tools
• Recruit and train data technicians to ensure staffing levels
• Oversee day-to-day data center operations including queue management and 7/24 shift patterns
• Act as subject matter expert across data center operations
• Ensure KPIs and metrics are measured and met
• Drive process improvements and automation
• Manage large-scale outages and serve as call leader
• Improve workflows and throughput in data center operations
• Document and oversee policies to meet best practices and SLAs
• Maintain on-call schedules and vacation coverage
• Focus on quality and customer experience
