Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Sterling, VA is seeking a Data Center Manager to lead and grow a high-performing engineering team responsible for global data center operations.

You will drive reliability, efficiency, and safety across multiple sites while collaborating with internal partners and external vendors. The role requires experience in data center technology, networking or hardware, and a proven track record in team leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical team management experience.
• 4+ years of experience in a data center technology role and/or 4+ years of knowledge with Networking or Computer hardware.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing teams of engineers, providing both technical and leadership expertise and ensuring the highest levels of performance.
• Maintaining existing Data Centers and helping build and bring online new Data Centers.
• Constantly improving all processes and procedures to drive operational excellence.
• Assisting and managing relationships with external vendors and contractors.
• Liaising with internal teams and management groups and ensuring safety standards.
