The role focuses on solving complex technical challenges, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the reliability of AWS infrastructure. You will lead engineers, manage data center operations, and collaborate with vendors to maintain performance and safety standards while enabling new facilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical team management experience.
• 4+ years of experience in a data center technology role and/or 4+ years of knowledge with networking or computer hardware.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams of engineers to drive high performance.
• Maintain and operate existing data centers to ensure reliability.
• Build and bring new data centers online and scale capacity as needed.
• Continuously improve processes and procedures to boost operational metrics.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for seamless support.
• Liaise with internal teams and management for strategic alignment.
• Ensure adherence to local Health & Safety standards and policy compliance.
• Create and maintain data center metrics to drive positive changes.
• Assist in implementing incident, problem, change, and capacity management.
