Job summary

Cloudflare in Austin is seeking a hands-on Datacenter Operations Engineer to maintain and optimize our global network infrastructure. You will collaborate with SRE, Network Engineering, and deployment teams while working with vendors to ensure 24x7 availability.

Strong Linux administration, familiarity with datacenter gear, and experience managing remote contractors are essential. You will also help automate tasks with AI tools, document processes, and participate in on-call rotations to sustain

Qualifications

• 4+ years Linux administration experience.
• Experience managing remote contractors.
• Familiarity with datacenter operations and network gear.
• Experience with JIRA for project management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network Engineering and SRE to maintain 330+ cities and 125+ countries.
• Maintain Data Center environment operational availability.
• Leverage AI tools to automate repetitive tasks and speed up documentation.
• Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, MOPs.
• Support and configure network infrastructure where required.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
