Job summary

Meta designs, builds, and operates data center infrastructure worldwide. We seek a Data Center Development Manager to join the Global Site Development organization to drive site selection, entitlements, diligence, and delivery for future data centers.

You will balance speed-to-market, capital efficiency, and risk across internal and external partners, with 25-50% travel and opportunities to influence a growing portfolio of sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects and site development
• Experience coordinating with internal staff, external consultants, vendors and stakeholders
• Familiarity with project management tools and software (Google Suite, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Drive the entitlements process to meet project timelines
• Lead diligence and development to vet prospective sites and assess risks
• Organize communications and tracking for on-time delivery with stakeholders
• Collaborate with Site Selection Manager to align internal teams
• Prepare project recommendations for management approval
• Support data center portfolio strategy
• Support existing sites under construction or in operation
• Track and monitor site development including agreements
• Develop scalable tools and processes to improve delivery and communication
• Travel 25-50%
