Job summary

Eaton seeks a Director of Communications - Data Centers to educate, elevate and amplify data center growth. Lead internal and external communications, align stakeholders, and partner with HR, marketing, and public affairs to deliver impactful campaigns across a global, matrixed organization.

The role combines storytelling with data-driven metrics, supporting executives and leaders through change, integration and growth in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
• 12+ years in strategic communications with data centers, tech, or energy sectors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
• Experience supporting senior leaders and complex multi-stakeholder projects.
• Global project management across regions and time zones; change management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic, integrated communications plans to accelerate growth.
• Partner with HR, Marketing, Public Affairs to ensure consistent messaging.
• Lead internal campaigns: executives, town halls, announcements, engagement initiatives.
• Create executive communications: messages, talking points, leadership updates.
• Support transformation efforts and integration communication during growth initiatives.
