Job summary

Eaton’s Enterprise Engineering Codes & Standards Center of Excellence seeks a Director to lead strategy for data centers and DC applications, ensuring compliance across global operations. You will set direction, influence industry standards, and guide cross-functional teams in certification processes.

Responsibilities include developing strategies for IEC, NFPA, and UL standards, advising on regulatory impacts, and representing Eaton at standards committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in codes and standards.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Relocation assistance offered for candidates outside a 50 mile radius of specified cities.
• No sponsorship for CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or other visa programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for compliance with data center and DC system codes and standards.
• Interpret and apply relevant standards to new and existing products.
• Collaborate with engineering and validation teams to ensure certification and ongoing compliance.
• Advise business units and sales on regulatory considerations for data centers and DC applications.
• Represent Eaton at industry meetings and standards committees to influence development.
