Job summary

Meta is seeking a forward-thinking people manager to lead the Capacity Team within the Edge and Network Services Foundation. You will oversee rack receipts, moves, and decommissioning across global data centers, driving efficiency, reliability, and risk management through processes, systems, and data.

You will shape a global organization, own the capacity roadmap, and partner with stakeholders to deliver high-impact outcomes. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 5+ years of direct experience managing engineers and organizations
• 7+ years designing and deploying large-scale data center connectivity infrastructure
• Thorough knowledge of structured cabling and infrastructure design practices
• Experience with fault-tolerant critical infrastructure in high-availability environments
• 10+ years of global network or infrastructure operations experience
• 5+ years partnering with hardware, ITAD, logistics, facilities, and vendor teams
• Experience managing SLAs/KPIs to drive capacity services impact

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of capacity across multiple sites within a geographical area
• Distribute capacity workload based on projections and KPIs
• Coordinate with FieldOps to ensure on-time rack delivery and SLA attainment
• Manage stakeholder communications and lead cross-functional leadership meetings
• Develop and enforce SOPs, Runbooks, and standard procedures for reliable deployments
• Cascade strategic goals to align team and individual objectives
• Build a high-performing, accountable, onboarding-focused team
• Lead global organization growth with emphasis on ownership and collaboration
• Monitor capacity delivery, triage incidents, and drive root-cause analysis
• Drive automation and tooling to improve consistency and efficiency in infrastructure design and operations
• Travel 20% to data centers domestically and internationally
• Represent the organization in interactions with hardware, facilities, and vendor partners
• Lead matrix-projects across data center, production network, infrastructure, logistics, and compliance
