Job summary

Meta is seeking a forward-thinking Data Center Capacity Manager to lead the capacity team across multiple global data centers. You will supervise engineers in rack receipts, moves, and decommissioning, ensuring adherence to SOPs and runbooks while driving reliability and efficiency.

The role blends strategic planning with hands-on leadership to scale Meta's compute infrastructure. You will own the organizational roadmap, mentor a global team, and partner with FieldOps, Logistics, and Security to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of direct experience managing engineers and organizations.
• 7+ years of work experience with designing and deploying large-scale data center connectivity infrastructure.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through partnership and driving large-scale data center or infrastructure design initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of the capacity function across multiple sites in a geographical area.
• Distribute the capacity workload based on projections, OKRs, and KPIs across skill-sets and priorities.
• Manage stakeholder communications and represent the team in leadership meetings.
• Create and enforce Standard Operating Procedures, runbooks, provisioning workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead the organizational-level roadmap and strategy to deliver business outcomes.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective action leadership across infrastructure and hardware platforms.
• Coordinate with internal customers and external partners to ensure capacity delivery meets needs.
