Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Global Logistics Lead for Dangerous Goods to own DG policies, controls, and compliance across air, ocean, and ground networks. You will partner with internal teams, carriers, regulators, and consultants to ensure safety and scalable processes for rapid growth.

The role requires deep regulatory expertise, operational judgment, and ability to translate complex rules into clear, scalable procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing air, ground, and ocean dangerous goods shipments.
• 3+ years of experience with U.S. and international DG regulations and import/export compliance.
• Current valid certifications: DOT, IATA, and IMDG.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve DG policies, procedures, and controls for air, ocean, and ground transportation.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on DG regulations (IATA, 49 CFR, IMDG) and related regulations.
• Conduct internal audits of processes and documentation to ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Drive scalable solutions and metric-based continuous improvement that reduce risk and support business growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, industry associations, and key partners.
• Partner with senior leadership to align policy, risk posture, and operational controls.
• Support new business opportunities and transportation models with clear regulatory guidance.
