Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Dangerous Goods Lead, known internally as a Global Logistics Lead, to own the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of DG policies, controls, and processes for safe and compliant transport across air, ocean, and ground networks.

You will partner with regulators, carriers, and internal teams to drive safety and compliance while enabling new transportation models that support Starlink’s rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in compliance, audit, or risk management.
• 5+ years shipping dangerous goods by air, ground, and ocean.
• 3+ years DG regulations and import/export compliance.
• Current certifications: DOT, IATA, IMDG.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve DG policies and controls for transport.
• Act as SME on IATA, 49 CFR, IMDG and related DG regulations.
• Conduct internal audits for regulatory compliance.
• Drive metric-based improvements to reduce risk and enable growth.
• Build relationships with regulators and industry partners.
• Collaborate with leadership to align policy and controls.
• Support new business opportunities with regulatory guidance.
