Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Global Logistics Lead (Dangerous Goods) to own DG policies, controls, and processes ensuring safe, compliant transportation across air, ocean, and ground networks. You will work with internal teams, carriers, regulators, and consultants to enforce safety and enable new transport models supporting Starlink's rapid growth.

Ideal candidates bring strong regulatory expertise, practical operations judgment, and the ability to simplify complex DG requirements into scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years in compliance, audit, or risk management.
• 5+ years managing air, ground, and ocean dangerous goods shipments.
• 3+ years with U.S. and international DG regulations and import/export compliance.
• Current valid certifications: DOT, IATA, and IMDG.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve DG policies, procedures, and controls for air, ocean, and ground transportation.
• Serve as SME on IATA, 49 CFR, IMDG, and related DG regulations.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive scalable solutions and metric-based continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, industry associations, and partners.
• Partner with senior leadership to align policy, risk posture, and operational controls.
• Support new business opportunities with clear regulatory guidance.
