Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Global Logistics Lead (Dangerous Goods) to own the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of DG policies and controls across air, ocean, and ground networks. You will partner with internal teams, carriers, regulators, and consultants to drive safety, compliance, and scalable transportation solutions for SpaceX operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing air, ground, and ocean dangerous goods shipments.
• 3+ years of experience with U.S. and international DG regulations and import/export compliance.
• Current valid certifications: DOT, IATA, and IMDG.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve DG policies, procedures, and controls for air, ocean, and ground transportation.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on IATA, 49 CFR, IMDG, and related DG regulations.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Drive scalable solutions and metric-based continuous improvement that reduce risk and support growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, industry associations, and partners.
• Partner with senior leadership to align policy, risk posture, and operational controls.
• Support new business opportunities with clear regulatory guidance.
