Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Global Logistics Lead for Dangerous Goods to own DG policies, controls, and compliant transportation across air, ocean, and ground networks. The role partners with internal teams, carriers, regulators, and stakeholders to drive safety and scalable processes for Starlink’s rapid growth.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DG compliance, exposure to IATA/49 CFR/IMDG, and a track record of audits and cross-functional alignment in fast-paced logistics or aerospace environments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing air, ground, and ocean dangerous goods shipments.
  • 3+ years of experience with U.S. and international DG regulations and import/export compliance.
  • Current valid certifications: DOT, IATA, and IMDG.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve DG policies, procedures, and controls for air, ocean, and ground transportation.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on IATA, 49 CFR, IMDG, and related DG regulations.
  • Conduct internal audits of processes and documentation to ensure full regulatory compliance.
  • Drive scalable solutions and metric-based continuous improvement that reduce risk and support business growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with regulators, industry associations, and key partners.
