Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 12 months of brokerage or transportation experience preferred.
• MS Office, Outlook, Office equipment (phone, fax, copier, scanner) required.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Problem solving skills and ability to handle time sensitive work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation for US Customs/government agencies for entry of goods.
• Provide impeccable customer service and maintain high service levels.
• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from multiple sources.
• Data entry and processing of import-related documentation for submission to US Customs.
• Maintain and keep current all shipment documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements.
• Adhere to all importing/exporting regulations and work with internal staff and government agencies.
• Process agency brokerage shipments and may handle remote filings.
• Perform entry reconciliations as needed and ensure adherence to policies.
