Job summary

FedEx Logistics seeks a detail-oriented coordinator to manage US Customs documentation and entry processes for import shipments. You will ensure accurate classification, perform data entry, and maintain compliant shipment records while delivering high-quality customer service.

The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory adherence, and teamwork across internal departments. A HS diploma or GED is required, with paid training and a hybrid onsite schedule including evening hours.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• No prior industry experience required.
• Data entry/keyboard experience required.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and email applications (Outlook) using multiple screens/windows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation required by US Customs/Government Agencies for entry of goods into the US for importers.
• Provide impeccable customer service.
• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from databases, SOPs, tariff books, internet, or customs.
• Data entry and processing of various import related documentation for submission to US Customs; may handle limited PGAs.
• Maintain and keep current all shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements.
• Adhere to all international importing regulations.
• Work closely with internal staff to deliver high level of service to customers.
• Process agency brokerage shipments.
• Ensure all government and organizational policies are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned; paid training provided.
• Hybrid role with strong onsite requirement; Tuesday-Saturday 3pm-11:30pm.
