Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required. No industry experience required. 6 months work experience preferred.
• Data entry/keyboard experience required. Working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook using multiple screens.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; problem solving.
• Able to handle high volumes, time-sensitive work, and work with multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation required by US Customs/Government Agencies for entry of goods into the US.
• Provide impeccable customer service.
• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from databases, SOPs, tariff book, or internet.
• Data entry and processing of import-related documentation for submission to US Customs.
• Maintain and keep current shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements.
• Adhere to all international importing and exporting regulations.
• Work with internal staff, FedEx operations, and customers to deliver high level of service.
• Process agency brokerage shipments and may handle remote filings.
• Ensure all policies followed and perform other duties as assigned.
• Paid training provided.
