You will provide excellent customer service, ensure accurate goods classification for customs release, and handle data entry and submission to US Customs, maintaining compliant shipment records and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires basic educational credentials, 1 year of system experience, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; no industry experience required.
• Minimum 6 months of work experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience using computer systems with data entry and document creation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle high volume/time-sensitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation for US Customs entry on behalf of importers.
• Provide impeccable customer service.
• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release.
• Data entry and processing of import documentation for submission to US Customs.
• Maintain and keep current shipment documentation in compliance.
• Adhere to international importing/exporting regulations.
• Work with internal staff, carriers, brokers, and government agencies to deliver service.
• Process agency brokerage shipments.
• May handle remote filings.
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
