Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Customs Brokerage Lead Agent in the United States to ensure smooth customs processing, accurate data entry, and clear communication of requirements to customers. You will track files, generate reports, and support timely client billing while following all regulatory SOPs.

The role reports to the Customs Brokerage Lead and offers growth within a Fortune 500 global logistics network with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.
Ability to follow and communicate customs requirements to customers.
Track and Trace Custom files and reporting.
Ensure accurate and timely client billing.
Understand all elements of the import and export customs Desk Level Operating Procedure and interpret this information to fulfill customer instructions.
Transfer customs declaration information into the customs entry system.
Assist with verification of customs declaration information and submission to customs authority.
Ensure compliance at all times to regulations.
