Job summary

Expeditors, a global logistics leader, seeks a Customs Brokerage Lead Agent in Orlando to ensure smooth import/export processes, accurate data entry, and timely client billing. You will interpret the Desk Operating Procedure and support compliance with regulations.

The role requires knowledge of customs brokerage, ocean/road/air documentation, and strong Excel/Word skills. Fluency in English and proactive, highly organized collaboration with the Customs Brokerage team are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of customs brokerage processes and regulations.
• Ability to interpret and apply the Desk Level Operating Procedure.
• Experience with import/export documentation and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.
• Track and Trace Customs files and reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely client billing.
• Understand all elements of the import/export procedures and fulfill customer expectations.
• Transfer customs declaration information into the entry system for valid declarations.
• Assist with verification of declarations and submission to authorities.
• Ensure compliance with regulations at all times.
