DSV USA Inc. in Herndon is seeking a Customs Specialist, Entry Writer to manage customs documentation and ensure compliance, facilitating smooth cross-border shipments.

You will coordinate with internal teams, brokers, and government agencies to resolve issues and maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations. The role requires 2-3 years in customs operations, knowledge of regulatory procedures, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in customs operations or brokerage.
• Strong knowledge of regulations, processes and documentation.
• Familiarity with import/export operations and clearance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review customs documentation including declarations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations including tariff classification and origin.
• Coordinate with internal teams, brokers and agencies to resolve issues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and procedures.
• Monitor shipments and resolve delays or issues.
• Collaborate with authorities and participate in programs such as C-TPAT or AEO.
