Job summary

You will research, communicate with clients and CBP, and handle admissibility of merchandise while coordinating with internal teams and government agencies. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of customs brokerage experience, a strong eye for detail, and proficiency with ACE and customs software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Customs brokerage.

Responsibilities

• Review of Customs documents to be filed with CBP ensuring accuracy.
• Verify classification and valuation with the importer when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations.
• Obtain the appropriate documents required to support claims or disclaims.
• Ensure the proper and timely payment of duties, taxes, or other charges assessed or collected by CBP on merchandise by reason of its importation.
• Maintain documents required under 19 CFR 163.
• Monitor and track customs clearances and resolve any delays or issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, customs brokers, and government agencies to resolve customs-related issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
• Attend provided trainings.
• Support the development and implementation of customs compliance procedures and policies.
