Job summary

Illinois Tool Works Inc. is seeking a Customer Service professional to support Texwipe with pre-sales and post-sales activities in a dynamic environment.

You will handle orders, returns, pricing, and shipping discrepancies while documenting requirements for internal teams. You will coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Finance and Shipping, maintain product records, and respond to technical inquiries using the Product Encyclopedia and master catalogs.

Qualifications

• General customer service experience required; supports pre- and post-sales activities.
• Strong computer skills, especially Excel formulas and spreadsheet manipulation.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process orders for multiple regions (North America, Europe, Asia, South America).
• Review customer information, verify accuracy, and convey requirements to Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, Finance and Shipping.
• Prepare shipment documentation (e.g., NAFTA, CoA, CoC).
• Track order status and provide updates to customers and internal staff.
• Update change orders and coordinate with departments for feasibility and implementation.
• Assist in pricing and distributor spreadsheets; support special projects.
