Job summary

Bumble is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Critical Response to lead a global team focused on investigating and responding to the company’s most critical safety cases. You’ll drive strategy, operational readiness, and collaboration across Trust & Safety, Policy, Product, Engineering and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, objectives and performance of our global Critical Response function, translating safety risks into clear plans and scalable practices.
• Lead and empower a globally distributed team, ensuring coverage across US, UK and Australia time zones.
• Strengthen investigation processes, escalation pathways and incident preparedness for urgent, sensitive cases.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex incidents, collaborating across Legal, Policy, Product, Engineering and Communications.
• Build measures of operational health using risk analytics and insights to improve policy, tooling and operations.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to reimagine tools for investigations, exploring AI responsibly while preserving human oversight.
