Job summary

Gong is seeking a Global Safety and Security Lead to design, implement, and lead our worldwide safety programs across offices and remote sites. You will partner with Workplace, People, IT, Security, and Legal to build practical frameworks that balance compliance, employee experience, and business continuity.

The role requires 10+ years in safety or security, with global operations experience and up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in safety and/or security management, ideally global tech or high-growth
• Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally
• Strong knowledge of international HSE regulations and global security practices
• Experience leading distributed teams and managing third-party vendors
• Excellent crisis management, problem solving, and stakeholder communication skills
• Certifications such as CSP, NEBOSH, OSHA, CPP are a plus
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office for reporting and coordination

Responsibilities

• Lead global physical security operations, including access control, visitors, surveillance, and vendor oversight
• Develop and manage global safety and security policies aligned with regulatory standards
• Coordinate with IT and Information Security to align physical and digital security
• Oversee incident response, investigations, and reporting globally
• Build relationships with authorities, landlords, and emergency services
• Lead global safety programs, risk assessments, audits, and compliance tracking
• Support business continuity, crisis management, and communications
