Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with system design at scale.
• Proven track record in leading complex technical initiatives.
• Ability to influence direction across teams and stakeholders.

• Proficient with AI-powered tools and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable systems powering Bumble’s Trust & Safety.
• Own and drive high-impact initiatives from concept through delivery.
• Set technical direction and best practices for the area.
• Partner with product and data science to deliver cohesive safety solutions.
• Mentor engineers, improve code quality, and share knowledge.
• Advance engineering practices with curiosity and continuous improvement.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development and architecture decisions.
• Champion ethical, transparent use of AI aligned with user safety.
