Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in credit and collections.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve credit-related disputes.
• Deep knowledge of credit and collections practices, principles, and regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of accounting policies, practices, and systems.

Aufgaben

• Lead credit, collections, and cash application activities, with policy enforcement.
• Manage collections on past-due accounts and document actions in the customer master file.
• Approve or decline credit applications based on reports, financial analysis, and references.
• Monitor receivables, bad debt, doubtful reserves, delinquencies, and bankruptcies; take action as needed.
• Review accounts and write-offs; collaborate with sales to resolve issues.
• Support customer requests (invoices, statements, W-9s, delivery proofs).
• Maintain resale tax certificate and customer invoice/statement email databases.
• Lead, coach, and develop a credit team; drive process improvements and KPI reporting.
• Ensure compliance with policies, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and health, safety and environmental guidelines.
• Safeguard confidential company, supplier, and customer information.
