Job summary

Gilder Search Group in Pleasant Grove, CA is seeking a Credit Manager to lead a seasoned credit and collections team. You will mentor staff, strengthen controls and partner with sales and operations to protect cash flow.

You will work on site with an outgoing Credit Manager, building relationships with customers while shaping credit policy and process improvements for a high-performing department.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a commercial credit/collections function.
• Proven ability to manage a team and drive performance.
• Strong experience with B2B accounts receivable and credit portfolios.
• Familiarity with collections, legal actions and risk evaluation.
• Ability to set and adjust customer credit limits and terms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a nine-person credit/collections team with accountability and tools.
• Manage staffing, onboarding and day-to-day workflow.
• Oversee a large accounts receivable portfolio (~6,000 accounts).
• Establish credit policies, controls and approval guidelines.
• Monitor aging, delinquency and collection activity to protect cash flow.
• Prepare reporting on aging, exposure and bad debt risk.
