Job summary

Ideal Tridon seeks a Credit Manager for its Smyrna, TN headquarters. You will oversee credit, collections, and cash application across the U.S. and Europe, guiding teams in China and India. Responsibilities include managing credit risk, setting limits, and monitoring DSO, aging, and bad debt.

You will lead a credit team, partner with Sales and Finance, and drive process improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance and data confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in credit and collections.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve credit-related disputes.
• Deep knowledge of credit and collections practices, principles, and regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead credit, collections, and cash application activities and enforce policies.
• Manage collections on past-due accounts with proper documentation in the system.
• Approve or decline credit applications based on reports, analysis, and references.
• Monitor receivables, bad debt, doubtful accounts, delinquencies, and bankruptcies; take action as needed.
• Review customer accounts and write-offs; collaborate with sales leadership and customers to resolve issues.
• Support customer requests (invoices, statements, W-9s, proof of delivery).
• Maintain resale tax certificate and customer invoices/statements databases for accuracy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Lead, coach, and develop a credit team; drive cross-functional collaboration.
