Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Credit Manager to lead the global Credit and Accounts Receivable function from San Clemente, CA. This hands-on leadership role covers risk assessment, credit limits, terms, and international exposure, while partnering with senior Finance and Sales leadership to optimize cash flow.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive Credit, Collections, and/or AR experience.
• Global/international credit and collections experience required.
• Strong full-cycle AR experience including collections, aging, cash application, reconciliations, deductions, and disputes.
• ERP experience with major systems (PeopleSoft, Oracle, Epicor, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead global Credit, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Cash Application, and Order-to-Cash operations.
• Evaluate new and existing customers for creditworthiness and establish limits and terms.
• Manage domestic and international credit exposure and customer risk.
• Develop and enforce credit and collection policies; monitor AR aging and DSO.
• Lead collection strategy and improve cash flow; resolve disputes and deductions.
• Oversee holds, order releases, and collaboration with Sales, Logistics, and Supply Chain.
• Develop forecasts and provide executive AR reporting; mentor the team.
