Job summary

The Wonderful Company is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to manage global cost accounting and inventory-related activities. Based in West Los Angeles, this role anchors inventory valuation, landed cost, COGS, and related controls across entities and logistics partners.

You will collaborate with FP&A, procurement, and supply chain to deliver accurate cost reporting, close the books, and support process improvements. A CPA/CMA and ERP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Five years of progressive cost-accounting experience in inventory-intensive environments.
• CPA or CMA designation preferred.
• Experience with intercompany inventory flows, landed cost, and cross-entity reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of inventory valuation, COGS, gross margin, and financial close.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory valuation, landed cost, COGS, and related controls across global entities.
• Reconcile inventory activity to the general ledger and investigate variances.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and reclasses for events and intercompany costs.
• Support ERP close processes, audit readiness, and process improvements.
• Provide concise reporting on cost, inventory, freight, COGS, and margins to leadership.
