Job summary

The Wonderful Company LLC is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting to lead a high-performing team in California. Based in West Los Angeles with hybrid in-office Mon-Wed and remote Thu-Fri, you will drive accurate financial close, ensure balance sheet integrity, and champion technology-enabled improvements across accounting processes.

You will oversee complex accounting matters, collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and other stakeholders, and support external audits and regulatory

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience with leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
• CPA or equivalent preferred
• Experience with a major ERP system, preferably Oracle, and involvement in finance systems, automation, process transformation, or AI-enabled initiatives
• Experience working with internal and external auditors and leading cross-functional accounting/finance transformation initiatives
• Strong technical accounting foundation including GAAP, internal controls, financial statement analysis, and judgment to assess complex transactions

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for monthly, quarterly, and annual close with accuracy and timeliness
• Support close processes, maintain close checklist, review journal entries, complete reconciliations
• Uphold balance sheet integrity with timely, well-supported reconciliations and問題 items resolved
• Research and determine accounting treatment for complex/ unusual transactions (e.g., 1031 exchanges)
• Review financial statements and supporting analyses for GAAP compliance and internal controls
• Build and develop a high-performing accounting team with coaching, development opportunities, and succession planning
• Plan capacity and workload to ensure coverage and drive process improvements
• Champion adoption of AI, automation, and emerging technologies in Corporate Accounting
• Develop and monitor KPIs to assess close performance, reconciliation quality, and process health
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Real Estate, Payroll, IT, and other stakeholders
• Support year-end audit deliverables and tax packages; ensure documented procedures and backups
