Job summary

The Wonderful Company LLC is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting in Los Angeles to lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close, ensuring GAAP-compliant financial reporting and strong internal controls. You will oversee a high-performing team, drive process improvements, and champion AI and automation adoption across Corporate Accounting.

Based in our West Los Angeles office, this hybrid role requires Monday-Wednesday in-office with Thursday and Friday remote, focusing on scalable,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and finance transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close with accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, and close checklist maintenance.
• Ensure balance sheet integrity and strong internal controls.
• Evaluate complex transactions (e.g., 1031 exchanges) and document conclusions.
• Collaborate across FP&A, Tax, IT, and business units to drive improvements.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team and manage capacity.
