COSMAX USA is seeking a detail‑oriented Regulatory Affairs Specialist to support regulatory compliance for cosmetic ingredients and finished products across global markets. You will evaluate ingredient safety, monitor evolving regulations, and provide guidance throughout the product development process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field is required.
• 2–5 years of experience in cosmetic regulatory affairs.
• Knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, formulation safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross‑department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate cosmetic raw materials and formulations for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Perform risk‑based safety assessments using scientific principles and usage patterns.
• Review supplier documentation to support safety assessments and regulatory needs.
• Prepare and maintain product safety documentation and technical support for inquiries.
• Identify regulatory and safety concerns and suggest formulation adjustments.
• Research and interpret domestic and international cosmetic regulations.
• Collaborate with R&I, Sales, Marketing, Quality, and global teams on regulatory needs.
• Support implementation of updated regulatory requirements and compliance strategies.
• Create and maintain raw material codes in the database.
