Job summary

SGS is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Associate for cosmetics to provide technical regulatory support to sales teams and client projects in the US. The role emphasizes compliance, testing coordination, and regulatory documentation to ensure products meet US and Canada requirements.

You will review ingredients, labels, and regulatory reports, staying current with evolving laws. This position is full-time and based in the United States, offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline required.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in regulatory affairs or cosmetics.
• Experience screening formulas and labeling for regulatory compliance in cosmetics/personal care.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical regulatory support to sales teams and account managers during client interactions.
• Support responses to tenders and projects from a regulatory perspective.
• Lead and support retailer programs for cosmetics products within the unit.
• Prepare or support test plans and SOPs per regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports on ingredient and product label reviews per US/Canada laws.
• Stay updated on federal and state cosmetics regulations in the US.
