Job summary

East Jordan-based EJ is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead global accounting operations, close cycles, treasury, tax, and internal controls. You will partner with regional teams, operations, and senior leadership to ensure accurate reporting and standardized practices across entities.

The role requires CPA, 10+ years in accounting/finance and 5+ years of management in a multi-entity environment, with experience in U.S. GAAP and consolidation. Remote work is available with some travel.

Qualifications

• Expertise in technical accounting, U.S. GAAP, consolidations, and financial reporting.
• CPA certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• 5+ years of management experience in a global or multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate and global accounting operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close, and consolidation.
• Own financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures.
• Drive standardization and automation of accounting policies, close calendars, and reporting.
• Lead external audit coordination and maintain internal controls.
• Oversee treasury, cash management, and lender relationships.
• Oversee global tax compliance, transfer pricing, and insurance.
• Provide systems governance for accounting platforms and reporting.
• Partner with senior leadership across legal, HR, IT, and operations.
• Support M&A due diligence, purchase accounting, integration planning, and post-close reporting.
