Job summary

EJ, a leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of access solutions, seeks a Corporate Controller based in Michigan. This role heads global accounting operations, financial reporting, consolidation, treasury, tax, and internal controls, reporting to the Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer.

You will standardize policies and close cycles across entities, partner with regional teams and senior leadership, and engage with banks, brokers, and service providers.

Qualifications

• Expertise in technical accounting, U.S. GAAP, consolidations, and financial reporting.
• CPA certification and strong accounting background.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; extensive management experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads corporate and global accounting operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close; group accounting and consolidation; and preparation of internal management reports and quarterly external financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Owns financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures, ensuring accuracy and alignment with guidance.
• Drives standardization and continuous improvement of accounting policies, processes, and close calendars.
