Job summary

Ampure Charging Systems, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Controller to own the global accounting function across the US, Mexico, and Germany in a hands-on capacity. You will run the monthly close, manage inventory costing, and consolidate financial statements while coordinating the annual audit.

This role is fully remote in the United States and reports to the CFO. You will lead intercompany accounting, variance analysis, and the development of a lean finance organization across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 10+ years progressive accounting experience including 3+ years as Controller/Assistant Controller.
• Deep manufacturing costing, variance analysis and inventory valuation.
• Multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation under US GAAP.
• Strong ERP skills with NetSuite; advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience managing external financial statement audits.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly and annual close across all entities with a disciplined close calendar.
• Oversee inventory and standard cost development, variances and cost accounting.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements under US GAAP; manage intercompany eliminations.
• Support transfer pricing documentation and external audits.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations, ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 842 leases.
• Design and enforce control environment across three countries; liaise with auditors.
• Deliver reporting packages to investors and lenders; assist CFO with covenants.
• Manage NetSuite from accounting perspective and optimize chart of accounts.
