Job summary

Confidential, based in New York, seeks a Global Corporate Controller to act as the CFO’s right hand, leading global financial operations, technical accounting, and reporting for a $1B+ multinational services company.

This role oversees a multi-location team, drives the global close, multi-currency consolidation, and implements world-class reporting aligned with PCAOB readiness, while partnering with tax, treasury, and IT on ERP and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Taxation or Finance is required.
• Master’s degree in Accounting and Taxation is strongly preferred.
• Active CPA Certification required.
• 10–15+ years of progressive Finance and Accounting experience in multi-location service company setting.
• Exposure in a $1B+ multinational service company setting is preferred.
• 5-7+ years of public accounting with Manager-level achievement preferred.
• Experience with PE-owned platforms or external auditors is a major plus.
• Proven track record leading complex, multi-jurisdictional external audits.
• Experience in public company corporate reporting and multi-entity consolidations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global corporate financial close and multi-currency consolidation process and prepare complex financial statements.
• Consolidate and unify accounting functions under a shared services umbrella.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on M&A, debt refinancing, and revenue recognition.
• Direct multi-location external audit processes as primary liaison with auditors.
• Lead enhanced financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting efforts.
• Develop internal controls and SOPs to support rapid scaling (SOX-lite).
• Oversee tax compliance in coordination with the tax team.
• Drive ERP system evaluation, selection, and scaling with IT partnership.
• Collaborate with FP&A and Treasury to translate GAAP into PE-view reporting and analytics.
