Job summary

Proceanic Ltd. is seeking a Corporate Controller based in Houston to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance for a growing global services business.

The role involves transitioning from outsourced accounting to a fully internal, data-driven finance organization, building scalable processes, and reporting to the EVP, Finance & Strategy. You will manage multi-country resources and support audits, tax readiness, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Active CPA license is required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with senior roles.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Hands-on ownership of monthly close and GAAP financial statements.
• Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency consolidations.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting operations including GL, consolidations, payroll, monthly close and financial reporting.
• Manage multi-entity, multi-currency consolidations across domestic and international entities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements per U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain internal control environment; coordinate audits and tax filings.
• Lead automation and ERP optimization to improve speed and accuracy of reporting.
• Lead and mentor the internal accounting team and partner with EVP and leaders.
